Engine Matters Limited (Totachi Ghana) is a limited liability company based in Accra, Ghana. Since 2016, Engine Matters Limited has been sourcing, distributing, marketing and supplying high quality synthetic lubricants to retail and commercial customers in Ghana. As part of its long term growth strategy, Engine Matters Limited secured the rights as the Exclusive Distributor of Totachi lubricants and other automotive parts in the year 2020.

Was founded in 1998 by a group of chemical engineers in Hokkaido, Japan; bringing together a wealth of industry experience in the automotive, marine and industrial lubricant sectors. Sustainable innovation, Japanese tradition and an enduring business model have provided a strong foundation for Totachi’s success over the years.
In 2021, Totachi Ghana expanded its operations into the following regions: Ashanti, Western and the Northern—with immediate plans to expand to key regions such as Eastern, Volta, Bono, Ahafo and Bono East.
Engine Matters Ltd thrives on offering unprecedented customer satisfaction and product innovation and seeks to become the number one distributor of world-class lubricants, specialty fluids, automotive filters and batteries for passenger cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles in Ghana and the West African sub-region at large.
